|Mrs. Jan Adamson||Principal|
Mrs. Jan Adamson grew up in Dalton, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor and Masters of Education. She also has an Educational Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
Mrs. Adamson began her teaching career in Jefferson, Georgia before moving to the Cherokee County area where she taught Kindergarten through fourth grade at Free Home Elementary. In 2002, she was appointed as the first assistant principal at R. M. Moore Elementary. Mrs. Adamson moved to Hasty Elementary in 2007 and remained there until her appointment as Principal of R. M. Moore in 2010.
When Mrs. Adamson is not at school, she enjoys time with her husband Mark and their grown twin sons as well as a house full of animals.
|Mrs. Denna Vance||Teacher on Special Assignment-Administration|
Mrs. Denna Vance grew up in Pickens, Georgia and attended Kennesaw State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Additionally, she holds a reading endorsement and is STEM, MIE, and gifted certified.
Mrs. Vance taught in a Science Magnet School and the private sector before joining Cherokee County. In Cherokee, she helped open the doors of Clark Creek STEM Academy in 2012. At Clark Creek Elementary School, she actively helped with the STEM initiative and the school’s State STEM Certification. Throughout Mrs. Vance’s teaching career she has had the pleasure of teaching all grade levels kindergarten through fifth.
Along with Mrs. Vance’s joy of helping other educators and promoting the implementation of technology in the classroom, she loves spending time with her wonderful husband and precious baby boy.
