Maps

The following school boundary maps are posted online as a convenience to Cherokee County students and parents. Pursuant to School Board policy, annual boundary focus group hearings are held throughout the school district when new schools are opening and/or student population growth necessitates school boundary changes. Pursuant to Georgia statutes, school boundaries are recommended by the Superintendent and approved by the School Board on an annual basis. Additionally, because of unprecedented student population growth and overcrowding conditions, several elementary schools and middle schools have split feeder patterns (i.e., some elementary schools feed into two middle schools and some middle schools feed into two high schools - - for example, Freedom MS students matriculate to Cherokee HS and Woodstock HS).

To view current feeder patterns, please see the Geographic Assignment Areas .
