Important School Council Dates for 2017-2018

School council will be electing 4 parent representatives this year. Two of the seats that will be elected are parent representatives.  The other two seats that will be elected will be parent/business representatives. Please utilize the information below if you wish to run for one of these vacant seats.

Etowah School Council Nomination Form

August 18– All nominations due, via email to

August 21-August 28– Absentee Voting- any parent or legal guardian of a current Etowah student who can NOT attend the voting for school council members at Open House on September 5- you must email to obtain a ballot. You will fill in your ballot and bring it to the school no later than the end of the school day of August 28.

September 5 – Voting for all parents or guardians who wish to vote at the beginning of Open House

September 7 – Results from voting released via email blast, social media, school website. Calls will be made to notify those elected to a school council seat.

September 13 – 1st school council meeting at 4:00pm.
