Friends Club Goes to the Tellus Science Museum

Mrs. Salvino’s and Mrs. Malevenda’s classes, and the Friend’s club members, attended a field trip to the Tellus Science Museum on March 2, 2017. The participants received this wonderful opportunity due to a grant awarded by the ET Booth PTA. At Tellus, the students all participated in the Fossiliferous Program. This program included a guided tour (by the former retired teacher of one of the classes, Donna Dochney) of the Fossil Gallery, made fossil casts and rubbings, and went on a fossil dig.  Each student also got to take home the fossils they found. The PTA grant also provided lunch for everyone. This was a very special and educational opportunity for the students and friend’s club peers.
