Congratulations to the Creekview Army JROTC Raider Team for their accomplishments at the Georgia State Raider Championships held on Saturday, Oct. 29th at Spalding High School in Griffin, Ga.  The Grizzly Raider Team placed 4th in the State, out-dueling 64 of the best teams in Georgia.  The competition is a grueling eight-hour event with five events that are a 5K run, a Physical Fitness Test, the Tire Flip, the One Rope Bridge, and Cross Country Rescue.  “Our Raiders did so awesome today”, said team commander Jacob Densmore, “we trophied in three of the five events, which is terrific because most schools don’t trophy at all.  We battled hard and it was worth it.”  Raider Coach First Sergeant Anderson stated, “This is a great way to end the season.  Earning a place in the top five in the State is a goal we all tried to reach, and were successful.  Now we get ready for Raider Nationals, and will be competing against the best in the country.”
