Please plan on supporting The Red Cross at our annual CMS Blood Drive on Nov. 7th from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm here at CMS. If you have questions contact Ron Schwarzman
There will be prizes for students that recruit donors and for the homeroom with the most donors.
Thanks to CMS for the generous gifts to Hurricane Relief! Congrats to our FCA, Beta club, and peer helpers for the joint efforts in making our drive a huge success. We collected more than the other Cherokee County Schools who participated through their local FCA/Fish club chapters.
Students interested in trying out for the 7th or 8th grade boys or girls Grizzly Basketball teams need to attend the informational meeting on Thursday September 14th from 8:15-8:30 in the gym.

Grizzly Families –
In cooperation with the Cherokee County Sheriff Department, Creekview High School and School Police, we will be changing the traffic flow during peak hours. Effective Tuesday August 22,2017 during the morning hours of 8:00am -8:30am and afternoon hours 3:30pm-4:00pm all traffic will either be directed to turn right out of the parking lot for cars in the right lane or go across to CVHS for those in the left lane. Cars will not be permitted to turn left during this high traffic times.
The traffic on Owens Store Road must be free of cars waiting to pick up or drop off students so that the traffic flow continues in the school zone. We are hoping this change in car rider procedures will positively impact the travel time for all of our commuters.
Additionally, if you are dropping your students off in the morning before the school opens at 7:45am, please do not sit and wait in the fire lane for the school to open. If you want to wait with your child until the building opens for students at 7:45am, please park and wait with your student in a designated parking spot.
We appreciate your continued flexibility.
Dr. Susan Zinkil
