4th Grade Celebrates Colonial Days

Carmel Elementary School fourth-graders cap off their lessons about Colonial life and celebrate the Thanksgiving season with a Colonial Days event.

Children and teachers wear period costumes and learn about Colonial times by listening to guest speakers, trying their hand at crafts like butter churning, tin punching and writing with a quill and ink and enjoy a feast provided by partners and business partner, Jeremy Powell of Oink Crackle Moo.

Our picture day will be on Thursday, September 8th. All students will have a picture taken for the yearbook.

If you wish to purchase pictures, you must prepay. Students must hand the envelope to the photographer at the time the picture is taken to order pictures. Envelopes can be picked up in the front office.

The photographer requests that the children not to wear green because they use a green screen.

We will have retakes on October 13th.

Get Ready to Smile!
