CCSD Presents Leadership Degree and Certification Fair

The Cherokee County School District recently presented its first CCSD Leadership Degree and Certification Fair to share information on leadership degrees with interested teachers and leaders.

Forty-eight teachers and leaders attended the free session, which included one-on-one time with university representatives from Berry College, Kennesaw State University and Piedmont College. Berry and Piedmont College will be offering degree programs at CCSD facilities beginning this summer; KSU’s programs are fully online.

CCSD Chief Human Resources Officer Rick Beaulieu gave an overview of the Georgia Professional Standards Commission rules on advanced degrees, and CCSD Supervisor for Professional/Staff Development Jackie Miller reviewed each university’s program, including model, cost and unique features.
