Cherokee County High Schools offer a variety* of Advanced Placement courses. AP Courses are some of the most rigorous courses offered in the high school setting, because they are college level courses taught by specially trained high school teachers. By taking these courses, students further develop skills such as critical thinking and time management, along with improved study habits. All of which prepare them for success in college.  An additional benefit of AP courses is that students are also able to earn college credit by earn the specified scores on the AP Exams that are administered at the end of each school year.
